The Clearing Ahead was inspired by the wide-open landscapes of Texas during the years I spent exhibiting my work at the Round Top Antique Show. With a distant line of trees resting on the horizon, this painting captures that feeling of possibility that comes from looking ahead. The landscape becomes a quiet metaphor for life’s journey, reminding us that even when the path is uncertain, there is often a clearing just beyond what we can currently see. Show more
