The drawing ‘The Cloud’ portrays natural spirits and reflects my idea of animism, which is based on a feeling of coexistence and emotional intimacy between natural phenomenon and h uman beings. I have been working on the theme of animism and exploring how we can share a feeling of respecting nature in modern life as our ancestors did. In this work, I depicted the sky and trees with gentle textures and gradations that emphasize the character of the cloud. The expression came from my sensibility and observation of the form of the cloud. Show more
