The “Compass” Plot Lamp, is part of a new series of exclusive numbered pieces we manufacture exclusively under request. The lamps are made of folded aluminum and textured glass. Th e concept behind the series elaborates around the concept of origin and direction. The first piece of the series is shaped like a drop, pointing to the “right direction” or like a map pointer. This direction could mean a lot of different things to each person and could be a way to symbolize the longing for a place or someone. The other pieces in this series make reference to the arrival or goal and to the path itself. The Crooked square represent a plot of land or a place in which we choose to settle while the flower represents the beauty of the path or our ability to see beauty in it (the flowers we collect on the way and the peace in seeing how calmly nature progresses around us).
