What It Is Composition: A luxurious blend of 70% Merino wool and 30% extra-bleached Tussah silk, combining the softness and loft of fine Merino with the natural sheen and strength of silk. Format: Each 50 g top delivers approximately 4 m of fibre across a 1-inch width—perfectly prepared for smooth drafting . Cruelty-Free & Safe: The Merino is non-mulesed, and dyes conform to Oeko‑Tex 100 standards, ensuring environmental and ethical sourcing. Range of Colourways The collection features 12 vibrant colours, each named after astronomical themes or constellations—Aquarius, Aquila, Aries, Gemini, Hydra, Leo, Libra, Lynx, Orion, Phoenix, Taurus, and Virgo Want them all? Opt for the handy mixed bag, which supplies 25 g of every shade in one stunning package. Each colourway is a tonal masterpiece—Aquarius ripples in cool blue, Orion dazzles in warm citrus and pale greens, Hydra shimmers with rosy accents, and the rest carry their own cosmic charm. Why Crafters Love It Silky Atmosphere: The 30% Tussah silk imparts a luminous sheen that shifts under light, giving depth akin to starlight on fibre. Spinnable Dream: With a micron count of 20–23 and staple length of 3–4 inches, it's wonderfully spinnable—ideal for smooth, strong yarns. Versatile Usage: Suits all penchants—from hand spinning and wet felting, to nuno felt, weaving and jumbo crochet/knitting —anywhere a sparkly, soft wool-silk blend shines.
