A burst of warmth amidst the icy weather. I really enjoy painting these vibrant trees. They reflect the range of emotions we all have, light to dark. This particular copse was painted during Storm Goretti, so I was really cold and wanted to paint something to reflect the icy conditions but also show warmth and contentment.
