No. You don’t need to be good, you simply need to have the desire to create. This program is not about perfection or performance.It’s about learning how to see, how to feel, and how to translate your lived experience into art. Whether you’re a beginner or someone returning to art after years away, you will be guided step by step. What if I’ve never painted before and can't draw anything? That’s completely okay. We begin with ink and drawing to ground your eye and your awareness.Then we gently transition into acrylic painting in a way that feels approachable and intentional. You won’t be thrown into complexity, you’ll be led into it. Is this a technical art course? No, and that’s intentional. You will learn important foundations like light, composition, and color…but always in service of your voice. This is a formation experience, not just a technique class. I focus on helping you:• See the world like an artist• Develop your own visual language• Create work rooted in your life and experiences How is this different from taking an art class or getting a degree? Traditional programs often focus on theory, repetition, and external validation. This program focuses on:• Personal voice• Intentional creation• Direct feedback• Real artistic growth in real time You don’t need another credential.You need clarity, structure, and guidance. How much time do I need each day? Plan for: • 5-10 minutes of doodling a day or about 1 hour a week.• As you fall in love with the process more and more, I would give yourself more time, maybe 30 minutes to an hour a day to create! This online learning environment is designed to fit into your life,while still creating real momentum. What materials do I need? You’ll need simple, accessible materials: • Black ink pen• Sketchbook or paper• Basic Graphite Pencil • Pencil Sharpener• Colored pencils A full materials guide will be provided.
