The Croft - Shetland Tweed from West Yorkshire Spinners is a beautiful Aran weight yarn produced from 100% Shetland Island wool. Shetland fibre is celebrated for its fineness, warmth and strength. The wool is sourced directly from Jamieson & Smith of Shetland. 100grams/166metres/182 yards Weight: Aran Recommended Needles: 5.0mm Gauge - 18sts x 24rows = 10cm Care: Machine wash on 30° and lay flat to dry The high levels of crimp and wave in the fleece make it ideal for a hand knitting yarn. The Croft has a soft and silky handle that retains a lot of durability particularly suited to our new tweed collection.
