A world of possibilities lies at your feet, if you look a little closer. Meet The Curious Forage. The design of this piece is heavily inspired by my past works from limited series Life In Decay, The Lovely & The Deadly. The Curious Forage is an original wood burning on spalted maple cookie that has been sourced locally here in Ontario. This piece in particular is from a small wood shop that salvages and mills trees in their own forest only that have fallen from storms. This piece has been sealed with non-toxic, water-based polycrylic to ensure the integrity of the artwork and the wood. Included with the artwork is a keyhole hook installed into the back of piece for easy-hanging, a hand-burned signature and title on the back, as well as a Certificate of Authentication from the artist. Hannah offers free international shipping on all original work. Dimensions are measured edge to edge of the wood including any bark. Images have been taken to showcase the artwork as accurately as possible, however variations of colour and texture may differ slightly from your screen to real life.
