The Curiosity Journey is an invitation to participate in an experience of wonder and discovery. This month-long retreat-style resource is designed for those open to being curious and to let that curiosity lead an exploration of faith and possibility. Throughout the ages, the Church has flexed and changed alongside contemporary society and culture. In some eras, change was enormous. In other periods, time seemed to stand still, the decades stretching to centuries with a routine rhythm to the ways of practicing Christian faith. Not so long ago, the Church was the place of answers and moral codes. In many countries, at least one church building could be found in every small village and town. Today, as ancient church buildings find new lives as homes or galleries, our internal spiritual landscapes are also profoundly changing. The horizon is shifting. We’re experiencing an unquenchable thirst to find new pathways for faith. Once, the trend was to know the right answer, and asking questions was akin to having doubts and lacking faith. Increasingly today, as an expression of our faith, there is a hunger for asking questions that have no easy answers. In this curious space where humans and our technologies fall short of the answers we seek, we connect with the mysteries of God. Reaching into our past, searching for curios, sitting contemplatively in the present and casting forward with hope into what might be ahead on our path, The Curiosity Journey is a creative approach to re-enchanting our Christian faith, inspiring wonder and awe. This retreat experience runs for four weeks in June. A Curiosity Guide will be sent out one week before the journey begins. Each Monday morning, subscribers will receive content for the week ahead via email. Our weekly themes · Monday 1 June 2026 – Fuel – Discovering what gets us moving · Monday 8 June 2026 – Wild – Journeying to places beyond our comfort zone · Monday 15 June 2026 – Creative – Exploring our yearnings for expression · Monday 22 June 2026 – Between – Seeking pauses in the rhythms of daily life What you’ll receive The Curiosity Guide – A printable introduction to the journey, with practical ideas on engaging with the material, explanations on how to approach new concepts with an open mind, and inspirational suggestions for staying inquisitive throughout June. Four Weekly Printable Retreats Each retreat includes: · Introductory Material - To kickstart your curiosity on the weekly topic · 7 Questions - For deep reflection, discussion or journaling · 7 Suggested Activities - Tangible ways to explore the theme · 7 Story Snippets - Seven fictional story snippets embracing the theme. With seven questions, seven activities and seven story snippets provided each week, you can engage with one of each daily, or dive into them all at once during a longer retreat session. Curate your own experience, selecting or adapting the ideas that appeal or creating your own alternatives – the material is yours to explore in whatever ways work best for you. Your Curiosity Kit There are no fixed tools or materials you’ll need, but as you embark upon your own curiosity journey you will gather the objects, treasures and inspirational settings you want to engage with. If you do want to keep a record of your journey you may like to plan to use a physical or digital notebook, sketchbook or scrapbook - it’s entirely up to you!
