The Daimler Tradition is a living tradition: after more than 75 years, Daimler cars are still in production and the history of the marque is still in the making. Brian E. When in June 1964, the Daimler & Lanchester Owners' Club was inaugurated, the author was already a devotee of the marque and in the course of time he was appointed Honorary Registrar and Historian, positions which he still holds. He is also Registrar of The Lanchester Register. His quest for data has involved contact with The Daimler Company, Daimler Hire, coachbuilders, the museums, distinguished owners and their chauffeurs, and of course other enthusiasts.
