Orin Griffin was born, raised and still living in Schenectady, New York. Orin has written prose and poetry his entire life. Orin is a graduate of Albany State University, NY. His minor in African American studies was a premise for his literary passion. Reading the works of Zora Neale Hurston, W.E.B DuBois, Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes made a long lasting impression on the writer; to write with soulful wisdom. Orin played football at the University and was recruited to play professionally with the Baltimore Colts. He was also a Blues and R&B band leader, singing and writing his own CD. Show more
