Like music, they transport us into the ambiguous world of the undetermined.” While Paris was coming to t erms with Impressionism, the Symbolist artist Odilon Redon (1840-1916) concentrated on depicting the subjective, resulting in a wildly imaginative and singular vision and style. The Dream, ca. 1900-10, reproduced here as a notecard will make for a lovely note to friends and family.
