The Drop Over, Lake Macquarie, NSW. - 0595 Known as 'The Drop Over' by locals, the beautiful colours and patterns in this image are formed by the incoming tides to Lake Macquarie, NSW. I am fortunate to live close by and to create the image and capture the beauty of the colours and patterns, I flew to a height of 4000ft, rolled the plane on its side and shot it vertically. I have travelled a lot of Australia and this is still one of my favourite scenes, right here in my own backyard. Show more
