Even if you don’t hit gauge perfectly… The sweater itself is SO SIMPLE! a perfect square, no shaping for shoulders, no crazy short rows. Just hours of simple, relaxing knitting. However, it has been carefully studied to fit female bodies and proportions to flatter. But this sweater is not only for beginner knitters. It is also perfect for the traveler knitter (I promise this project requires no brain power), for the experienced knitter who needs a break, for the fashion forward knitter and for the classic one… I literally couldn’t find any situation that this sweater project wasn’t perfect for… Gauge: 12 st and 20 rows to 4” (10cm) in Stockinette St on US 9 (5.5 mm) needles. Before you measure, please take the time to wash and block your swatch in the same manner that you will wash and block your sweater. Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL). Shown in size M on a 36” bust. Recommended ease: Approx. 16 inches (40 cm) of positive ease. Choose a size from the list below that is approx. 16” (40 cm) bigger than your full bust measurement.
