From the Artist’s Desk The starting point for this design was a wing-shaped constellation, inspired by the form of an efficient frontier curve and reinforced by the prevalence of similar shapes in rock and roll imagery, from Aerosmith to Led Zeppelin. As the design evolved, I reduced and refined the more literal wing form, allowing greater focus on the central element: the optimal portfolio, shining like the brightest star in the night sky. In keeping with the origins of the design, I created a custom Led Zeppelin-style typeface to tie everything together like the logo of your new favorite band.
