by Dimitris Rokos A multilayered innovative science fiction epic about art and procrastination. Publisher: INKPRESS Dimensions 24 x 33 cm Pagesς 88 Black and white Hard cover Price 27 euros THE END, Dimitris Rokos' debut graphic novel will be out in Greek book stores on the 25th of June. Struggling to give substance to a medium sized space adventure movie, an ambitious yet inadequate film director comes face to face with his life's greatest dilemma. Would a precious intergalactic find be worth risking the destruction of humankind?? Quite similarly, struggling to present something somewhat autonomous and complete within the time frame he set himself for the elaboration of his first ever graphic novel, Dimitris Rokos gives the actual creative process the leading role in this wannabe story and gets unintentionally tangled up in an adventure way bigger than the one he was precisely meaning to completely avoid in the first place. THE END is part one of a huge, epic science fiction trilogy, where the plotline evolves while actually being drawn, the actual technical means become the main narrative force and the stages of the artist's actual practice turn into the ultimate thriller!! Full of contemporary trends, completely made by the human hand and deliberately incomplete, this most half-finished finished fictional work of the year has a very specific finishing line, a crystal clear ENDING, just not yet..
