Standing on the edge of Victoria Park and the University campus, Leicester University’s Engineering Department, designed by James Gowan and James Stirling in 1957, is a fantastic o cean liner of a building. After recently undergoing a very complex renovation to the amazing glasswork, and being amongst the city’s few high rises on a sunny day it truly is a spectacular and glistening landmark.
