This kit bundles four of Urth's core filter types rather than one: a UV filter for lens protection and haze-cutting, a CPL for reflection control and color saturation, and two fixed-strength NDs (ND8 and ND1000) for different exposure needs. The UV Filter Plus+ sharpens images while protecting the front element from scratches, water, and fingerprints, the CPL boosts contrast and saturation by cutting polarized light, the ND8 blocks a fixed 3 stops for moderate long exposures, and the ND1000 blocks 10 stops for much longer exposures in bright light. UV Filter Plus+: cuts ultraviolet light, sharpens images, and protects the lens from scratches, water, dirt, and fingerprints. CPL Polarizing Filter Plus+: cuts reflected/polarized light to increase contrast and boost color saturation.
