Sink deeply into our low profile Exmouth The shorter sibling of our bestselling Dartmouth, this Exmouth Bed is a lot lower to the ground and ideal for those wanting the rather commanding silhouette of a platform bed, that will still sit comfortably in loft rooms, or furnish cottages with low ceilings — we’ve found they’re perfect for top floor bedrooms where the headboard has to go underneath low eaves! The headboard The Exmouth low headboard is handmade in Devon from only the finest natural and organic materials. Its classic shape is padded with organic coir and generous helpings of our locally sourced organic wool, which we buy direct from the farm gates of Soil Association certified farmers just a few miles from our workshop. The base The mattress sits comfortably low onto sprung beech slats, hugged by a thick bed frame constructed from solid timber, adding a bit of drama into compact living spaces. Handily - for the purposes of access - the frame comes apart into 4 pieces for ease of delivery through narrower spaces. Love the shape but find it too low?
