Classy western film poster fro 1959 depicting western life at a violent mining community. Gary Cooper gives the standout performance as the spiritually wounded "doc" with George C. Scott making his screen debut. Directed by Delmer Daves. Printed by Stafford & Co. of Netherfield, Nottingham and London. Collectors will know that at the end of the printing process there was a folding machine, and this one has a slight imprint under the 'Hanging Tree' where the title has not quite dried and can be seen to have imprinted under the tree.
