The Harper Grace, is our first bow of 2023 and is launching during a special time as March is Trisomy 18 Awareness month. Trisomy 18, also known as Edwards Syndrome, is a chromosom al abnormality that impacts proper fetal development. Harper Grace was born June 11, 2020 at just 20 weeks gestation and lived for two hours. Harper suffered from several deformities including cleft lip, cleft pallet, club feet, masses on her brain, and underdeveloped kidneys. Trisomy 18 affects 1 in 5,000 children and Harper's family have held several fundraisers to help support other parents through the diagnosis and loss of their child. The proceeds of this bow will go directly to the Trisomy 18 foundation. Harper's family chose this bow to represent their daughter as purple is the primary color of the foundation.
