Released: 2011 Media: DVD Haunted: Hells Reach is a fast-paced shooter in a survival horror setting, pitting a small team of unlikely human heroes against a horde of hell-spawn adversaries. From an over-the-shoulder perspective, players team up to take down waves of demon attackers. Four human characters are available, and up to four players can fend off the devils together, in the game's main co-op mode. Other online modes offer player-versus-player battle and survival challenges. Throughout, the action is defined by flailing bodies, excessively bloody violence, and an abundance of gory explosions.Facing surprise attacks and overwhelming odds, survivors make their way through levels set in six larger environments. Characters earn experience as they progress, gaining access to new and more powerful firearms. As many as 30 different weapons may become available in the game, including handguns, shotguns, and automatic rifles, with dual-wielding options for advanced characters.
