Title: The Heaters – Energy TransferYear/Genre/City: 1973, Rock, Power Pop, Los Angeles, CAMatrix #: NJC 36486Condition: VG+, sounds good, looks great Cultural Facts: Scene Ecology : A deep-cut L.A. private-press type artifact—bands recording locally for regional sales, gigs, and word-of-mouth circulation. Studio Lore: These releases were often funded by the band, cut quickly, and pressed in small batches—more document than “campaign.” Media Narrative: Records like this survive through collector networks, not radio history—value comes from scarcity and the mystery of who actually heard it then.
