This is a linoprint of a fictitious place- a cosy cabin tucked away and surrounded by nature. A retreat from the artificial worlds of cities and suburbia. I used two separate lino blocks to create the main image, and finished off the print by hand painting the yellow highlights. Limited edition of 80. Image measures approximately 11 x 19.5cmPaper measures 19.5 x 28cmInk: I use Cranfield Safewash oil-based ink. This quality ink is lightfast and has a high pigment content. The colours are bright and it’s a joy to use.Paper: Lovely 90sgm Japanese HoSho paper. This bright white paper has a smooth finish and clean cut edges. There is plenty of space around the image allowing for lots of different framing and mounting options. Packaging: The print will be safely packaged with a heavyweight backing board and encased in a biodegradable cellophane envelope. It will then be posted in a sturdy cardboard envelope to protect it against any bumps along the way. Please consider reusing the envelope to reduce waste.
