PETER STAMPFEL, iconic songwriter, folkster, etc (Holy Modal Rounders, Fugs, Wildernauts, etc.) is hour guest of honor and main reason for the season... in the month before our beloved venue was shuttered we were trying to pull off as many bucket-list bookings as we could but sadly Peter's flights got messed up and he wasn't able to make it. but we FINALLY found what feels like the right venue for this life-dream booking and we're thrilled to finally present this legendary musician alongside ELI SMITH (Downhill Strugglers, director of the incredible Brooklyn Folk Festival, etc.). they'll be playing 2 sets!!! DO NOT MISS!!! also at the top of the billing is a duo set from NC folk legends JIM WATSON (Red Clay Ramblers, etc.) and ALICE GERRARD. they barely need any introduction around these parts and we're honored to host them again as they've brought so much amazing music and spirit the the old NIGHTLIGHT stage and many others. in addition we'll have music from a number of other acts, local and non-, including OLD-TIME FIDDLE TUNES, RAGS, ITALIAN FOLK, COUNTRY BLUES, NEW FOLK, EXPERIMENTAL/AVANT STRING and closing out with HONKY TONK and CLASSIC COUNTRY (for dancin!!!) from the likes of: CHLOE and the COUNTRY CRAWDADSMAGIC TUBER STRINGBANDMIKE GANGLOFF, ISAK HOWELL & KAILY SCHENKERDEVON FLAHERTY and his RAILROAD RAMBLERSOAK CITY SERENADERSEZEKIEL GRAVES $40 advance / $50 day-of-show (cash only) and does not include dinner or beverages.
