These lovely boxed pattern weights are made in the UK by The Industrious Maker, Gill Flury. Gill's design process involves the collection of an ephemera of vintage sewing items and packaging which are photographed, drawn from and digitally manipulated to create unique modern sewing accessories with a vintage style. This set of five brass weights is for use with your sewing patterns or papers. It really is a a beautiful and unique set of weights that will add some class to your sewing room. The weights themselves are made from repurposed solid brass plumbing parts. They are hand polished and stuffed with Shetland felt and British lambswool so they can also mind any stray needles. This larger set of weights includes one weight of approximately 200gms and four smaller weights of approximately 70gms. The weights come in a sturdy box lined and topped with Shetland felt to mind your needles.
