The Kernel’s Bière de Saison is a mixed-fermentation beer that rewards a bit of patience. Brewed with a blend of saison yeast, wild yeasts and bacteria, it develops its character s lowly, bringing together the rustic charm of a Belgian saison with the added complexity of wild fermentation. Goldings hops bring gentle herbal and earthy notes, alongside lemon zest, fresh hay and a hint of peppery spice from the yeast. There's a delicate tartness running through the beer, balanced by a dry finish and lively carbonation. Light on its feet but full of character, this is a thoughtful take on saison that gets more interesting as it warms in the glass. Show more
