Simple and understated, our most popular bed. Simple and understated, the Lanyard is a classic bed with a beautifully proportioned, square headboard. Our solidly built Salcombe Base provides the support for this elegant bed. The headboard The Lanyard begins with an understated slimline headboard, that looks great in a huge range of fabrics and fits almost any bedroom design. Each one is made by hand to order in our Devon workshop - and for added comfort and breathability we stuff them full of our beautiful locally sourced organic wool, which we buy direct from Soil Association certified farmers in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. The base The core of this bed base is made from certified organic coir, providing extra resilient support for your mattress. We then add our certified organic lambswool which is sourced from nearby farms in Devon and Dorset. The base has solid wooden legs which are attached to reinforced cross spars for extra strength. Finally we encase all of these lovely natural ingredients in an anti-bed bug quilted cotton cover. For other fabric option and colours see our Colour Selector above. Please note that unless otherwise specified, bed bases from a Small Double and larger come split in two (head to toe) as standard, for ease of delivery.
