Isle of Harris, Aug 2025 I tossed my sketching kit on my bike and cycled through the morning light in search of waves. The Atlantic rollers were easily found as the last waves of S torm Floris battered the coastline. Clambering onto a rock, I tracked the waves in fascination, drawing and redrawing their patterns. Perched too close, I eventually scrambled back to a safer distance, out of range of rogue waves. The waters swirled, tugging and towing at the inky rocks.
