Built to consolidate essential everyday carry into a single tactile object. Centered around an integrated keychain structure, The Latchkey keeps cards, folded cash, keys, and small daily essentials consolidated without unnecessary bulk while remaining compact enough for front pocket carry, clipped carry, or independent use. Each piece is handcrafted in small batches using full-grain vegetable-tanned leather and finished inside Cuervo Viejo Studio in Colorado. Over time, the leather softens, darkens, marks, and develops a patina unique to its owner through handling and repeated use. Some editions remain restrained and minimal. Others explore engraving, texture, symbolism, layered surface treatment, cultural references, or experimental visual language while maintaining the same recognizable chassis. The silhouette remains stable. The identity evolves through material, surface, and use.
