The bench top and apron are made from 100+ year old reclaimed barn wood that is sanded to a smooth finish. The top is hand waxed to a soft luster finish and the base is painted in non toxic milk paint lightly distressed exposing the natural wood underneath. WAX STAIN & PAINT OPTIONS: You can choose to have the bench completed fully in a natural wax stain or with a milk painted base (or the it can be fully painted) that is slightly distressed to recreate the look of an antique bench that has been passed down for many generations.
