I discovered Coney Island in Oklahoma City during the years when I was exhibiting there at the Festival of the Arts. Finding it to be a true slice of Americana, I created “The Lunc h Break” to celebrate its history and distinctive decor, including perfect dinette style tables and chairs as well as yellowed posterboard schedules of Oklahoma University football back to the 1940’s. The motorcycle parked out front waits while its rider enjoys a hot dog, Coney Island style. Show more
