It is also a smaller purse that can be kept in a larger bag and brought out when needed. All Carrie George bags are hand sewn. Why does that matter? Good question. Hand sewing a bag takes longer, but ensures an extremely solid interlocking of the thick waxed thread. This makes the bags able to hold up to lots of weight and years of wear.
