In writing this book, I have very much in mind the way in which Ezra, the great scribe of the restoration period, conducted himself. Of him it is written that he ‘had set his heart to study the law of the LORD, and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel’. (Ezra 7:10) That is something I so admire, and I want to share with you things that God has taught me, but also things I am trying to do in my own life. For I cannot afford to forget the special word in scripture addressed to teachers.Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we shall incur a stricter judgement. (James 3:1)There is not much about miracles in ‘The Miracle Pathway’ as the title would suggest. This book is more about putting yourself in the place where miracles can happen. It means we are willing to go there sometimes seems to be no way to go. On this pathway God makes a way where it seems impossible. That is the continuing miracle for walkers with God.Remember the words of Mary, the mother of Jesus, when she said, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” (John 2:5) It looks impossible, but just do it! That’s when the miracles happen. That’s when the overflow occurs. That’s when the abundance is revealed. It is not safe. It takes you out of your comfort zones. But it forwards the work of the kingdom in leaps and bounds. Show more
