This exciting array of single malts will provide unique taste adventures for every palate. Let’s jump into it with a light & delicate cask from the Speyside. Cask 58.35 Sunshine from Leith is a “something for everyone” dram and delightful way to start your flight. Fruity and floral, herbaceous and cereal notes greet the taster with a soft entry and lasting finish. We dial up the spice with Cask 39.187 Play-on-the-tongue duality for a spicy & dry malt from an elegant Speyside Lossie pedigree. As the name suggests, we have dueling banjos of flavour with sweet confection and toasty oak ebbing and flowing together for an electric expression. We head to the Highlands for our next selection, a juicy, oak & vanilla malt that is quickly acquiring a cult following among our members. Cask 68.31 Lady Chatterley's other lover is a delicious example of this flavour profile with terrific texture and dimension, marrying herbs and confection in mouthcoating delivery. The next two whiskies are all “wined” up, starting with Cask 48.110 Sooooternes! that benefits from additional maturation in a Sauternes cask. The make’s meaty style takes well to the dessert wine’s tropical character, yielding a complex sweet, fruity & mellow palate to explore. Cask 44.117 Happiness is a warm bung combines youthfulness with a voluptuous sherry cask to provide a glorious deep, rich & dried fruit whisky. Earthy, ripe and booming with intensity, this dram is outspoken in all the right ways. We return from the wine cask world to finish with a ‘drink outside the box’ ex-bourbon expression from the central Speyside. Cask 108.19 Forget convention! is an utterly unique peated malt that dotes on eastern spices, fruit-filled porridge, incense and roast vegetables simultaneously.
