Keep buckles and straps unbuckled to avoid stress on the webbing and stitching. Hang it on a hook or stand it upright on the reinforced boot. Avoid leaving heavy textbooks in the bag during long-term storage — they can deform the back panel. Zipper Care Lubricate zippers periodically with a silicone-based lubricant.
