The Nutcracker Coat is a combination of formal and street style with a snug touch, showcasing an asymmetrical design, composed of beautiful deadstock wool with a modern clash from a preloved deconstructed red blazer. It showcases a stunning "A" line fit, which creates a beautiful balanced shape when you wear it. I carefully selected, and deconstructed the preloved red Blazer and Wool jumper, to create such an interesting shape by attaching it to the deadstock wool body. We complemented these three elements with Noe's signature printing over the red blazer parts, showcasing his trajectory and passion for lettering, but keeping the classic and always recognizable blazer lapel look on the sides of the coat. I complemented this unique piece with a belt made of a preloved velvet skirt, which makes it easily adjustable, and very comfortable to wear, always keeping a nice hourglass shape once is belted. It features a very cozy turtle neck that can be unbuttoned but, I know winters can be very harsh so, I complemented it with a stunning neckpiece, which is made from the bottom of the wool jumper, and lined with deadstock wool as well, it is reversible and can be styled with your favorite pieces, I can tell you that it will definitely will take any of your outfits to the next level and brings so much versatility to The Nutcracker coat. The "Unparalleled Voyage" is an Upcycled collection inspired by city shapes, it is a continuation of the "Mixed Voyage" collection that was specially designed for The Geelong Design week exhibition. I created this collection in collaboration with the Architect and street artist Noe Mondragon aka Jerpone we used preloved materials, to highlight the importance of Slow fashion nowadays, and how architecture, design, and fashion are correlated. And now this unprecedent collection has been complemented with more limited edition pieces. I source all my fabrics from preloved quality pieces and deadstock, so you are not only saving textiles from landfill, you are getting a unique piece of wearable art. The Nutcracker coat fits from size 8 to a small 12. Measurements flat and buttoned up:From the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom down the front: 109 cm on the longest side of the coat. 95 cm on the shortest side.Across the chest from armpit to armpit: 52 cm approx.Waistband: 44 cm, unbelted (This measurement can be adjusted by relocating the buttons).
