Vincent Price and Christopher Lee star in this gothic horror directed by Gordon Hessler. Julian Markham (Price) keeps his brother Edward (Alister Williamson) locked away in his vast home as he is ashamed of his appearance. Edward tries to escape but his plans are complicated when he crosses paths with Dr. Neuhartt (Lee), a surgeon conducting experiments on exhumed corpses. Once he is free, Edward hides his face behind a red mask and embarks on a brutal killing spree. As Julian attempts to stop him, long-buried secrets come to light. The cast also includes Sally Geeson, Peter Arne and Harry Baird.
