Formed in December 2013, The Outfit hail from Custom House in London's East End, the same manor that begat vocalist Jeff Turner's world famous punk band, the Cockney Rejects.Recorded in a studio above Canning Town's legendary Peacock boxing gym, the album features, alongside Jeff, Louis 'Reason' Bowers (son of Tony Bowers, co-owner of the gym) and Wayne Maynard, guitarist with East End Promises. The result is quite a musical departure from the Rejects - rock, punk, synth, soul, reggae, rap, hip-hop, it's all there - but the essential East End sound, edge and feel is definitely here in spades. 1.
