The Oxford Bifold was created as an alternative to the bulky wallet. Made individually in our workshop from Walpier Buttero, a premium vegetable-tanned leather produced in Tuscany, it is designed to carry the essentials without unnecessary bulk. Each wallet is hand saddle-stitched using Fil au Chinois linen thread, a traditional construction method chosen for its strength, longevity, and ability to be repaired decades into the future. The edges are finished entirely by hand using a multi-stage process of sanding, burnishing, waxing, and heat treatment. This labour-intensive approach creates the deep lustre, smooth feel, and long-term durability that distinguish fine leather goods from mass-produced alternatives. There are no synthetic linings, bonded leathers, or disposable materials. Only full-grain leather, traditional construction, and the patience required to do things properly. Over time, the leather develops a rich patina unique to its owner, becoming more personal with every year of use. Made by hand in England. Designed to last a lifetime.
