The Paige Bag was designed as a paired down briefcase. It's the "just right" work bag, not too big, not too small (thanks Goldy Locks for the poignant analogy). Hand sewing a bag takes longer, but ensures an extremely solid interlocking of the thick waxed thread. This makes the bags able to hold up to lots of weight and years of wear.
