After a decade of accumulating clothes, objects and wood, I stopped buying art materials until the accumulation was all used up, following Donna Haraway’s: “stay with the trouble”. In this new moment of my journey, movements like Supports/Surfaces, Neo-concretism, Arte Povera or Minimalism became guides to transform art as a form of play. The work "The Pause" was created with leftovers of paintings and devised specifically for the wall of the exhibition space. Its minimalist shapes and simple fabrication process underline the tensions present in the material, the fragility of the installation and its ephemeral caracter. Show more
