The Peaceful Path - the carefree snail slowly glides along, enjoying the sunset and orchid clouds. The snail reminds us to slow down, be in the moment and take time to care for our selves. My grandmother’s stewardship of the Columbia Valley Wetlands influences me to increasingly consider the sustainability of the source, processing, and disposal of materials in my art practice. Sourcing plastic-free materials and responsible packaging, and repurposing magazines, books and textiles are all part of my efforts to lessen the environmental impact of my art. Show more
