This rainbow-colored sampler includes: Strawberries, Bananas, Pears,Cherries, Peaches, Raspberries, Oranges, Mangos, Watermelon, Plums, Lemons,Grapefruit, Apples, Kiwi, Cantaloupe, Pineapple, and Blueberries. 17 differentkind of fruit! The Produce Section sampler quilts are made with 17 different blocks. LARGE QUILT The 75" x 75" Large Quilts shown in the gallery below are made with four of each block. SMALL QUILT The 38" x 38" Small Quilt is made with one of each block. This is a patchwork-pieced pattern. The blocks are made entirely of rotary-cut squares and rectangles, and everything is sewn together using conventional patchwork techniques. No templates or paper piecing! The pattern includes a diagram and chart showing all of the pieces needed to make each block. You can use this as a reference while making the pattern projects, or as a guide for making individual blocks and scrappy projects. The Produce Section projects include small pieces. The pattern will walk you through the process of sewing them with both diagrams and written instructions for each step. Among my patterns, The Produce Section is rated Skill Level 4 (of 5). The blocks in the Small Quilt are made with 36 squares, 10" x 10" each. The blocks in the Large Quilt are made with 24 fat quarters and 12 fat eighths. The fabric guide on Pages 1 - 2 of the pattern lists all of the fabrics and where they will be used in the quilt.
