But the garden is not as peaceful as it appears. Kringle, a sharp-eyed Maine Coon, prowls the garden patiently, always searching for weakness. Roads, dogs, and sudden human activity turn safe places into risky ones. The land itself still holds the memory of wildfire, a reminder of how quickly everything can change. Beyond the fence, a quiet coyote named Ash moves through the territory, guided by instinct and restraint, challenging the flock to understand fear without being ruled by it.
