The remains of long abandoned stone buildings can still be found in many parts of Dinorwic Slate Quarry.For many years this area would have been a hive of activity employing upward s of 3000 men. Derelict structures are dotted all around the quarry on several levels. From these elevated positions you cannot help but stand in awe of the stunning landscape that lies before you.
