Just as a family gathers repeatedly around the same table, the members of a contemporary music quartet come together for each concert. This somewhat mismatched foursome, led by the respectable yet slightly pedantic Robert (Lukáš Melník), his attractive and troubled cellist partner Simona (Barbora Poláková), the extroverted jokester Tomáš (Jaroslav Plesl), and the history buff nicknamed Funés (Zdeněk Julina), encounter numerous humorous situations and misunderstandings on their journey to create their most liberating composition. They also spend time in the legendary Ponorka pub in the historic center of their hometown, a place frequented by the free-spirited "Batrflaj" (Pavlína Štorková) and the quartet's "resident" psychotherapist Sylva (Lenka Krobotová). Amid ongoing conflicts and slightly bizarre situations among the main characters, an unplanned party eventually brings a sense of catharsis, joy, and the long-desired feeling of happiness.
