Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson - the Rebbe Rayatz (12th of Tammuz 5640 - 10th of Shevat 5710) (in Chabad chassidic parlance "the Previous Rebbe" and in the original Yiddish "der f rierdiker Rebbe") was the sixth Rebbe in the dynasty of Chabad Rebbes, son of Rabbi Shalom DovBer (the Rebbe Rashab) and Rebbetzin Shterna Sarah Schneerson, and father-in-law of the Rebbe. His resting place is in the Ohel at Montefiore Cemetery in Queens, New York. Show more
