Luke Geddes Works of Love "I recently came into the possession of a complete two-year run of The Riverside Challenger, an elementary school newspaper written and produced by first and second graders from 1992 to 1994. (Some of the issues were printed in purple mimeograph ink!) This zine comprises a hefty selection of the best bits, presented without comment and in chronological order. Your number one source for breaking news on such topics as: Brandon's new Nintendo game, Mrs. Gifford's car accident, the Book It! pizza party, the "weird flu" epidemic, the Slim Goodbody assembly, and much, much more! As I assembled this, I expected it to be a little goof but was surprised and touched by the unexpected pathos of it. It really captures the way as a kid every little event is new and totally unprecedented." approx. 4.25" x 5.5". 64 b&w pages, color cover.
