The Road So Far is a 23-song collection tracing Will Finley's journey through more than a decade of writing, recording, releasing music and figuring out life along the way. Rather than capturing one moment in time, the record brings together songs from different chapters - chasing a dream, falling in love, screwing it up, trying to move on, nights at the bar, days on the water, friendships, heartbreak and all the miles in between. Across the collection, the perspective changes as much as the music does. There are songs about the freedom and recklessness of being young, songs about women who make settling down suddenly seem possible, and songs about relationships that leave you driving around looking to the radio (or the bottom of a glass) for answers.
